Wordpress sidebars not updating
Your ID was different from the original name, and there was no entry for a sidebar with this id. I had to maunally add some html within the sidebar div of html, but I when I preview/activate this theme, it doesnt show the maunal updated content of sidebar, do I need to add this to also and if so where.
Content Aware Sidebars even allows you to combine conditions in any way you like very efficiently. can display a custom sidebar on all posts in Category X written by author Y.
If you don’t see your sidebar you may need to add at least one widget.
You can learn more about the widgets we offer by checking out the Related links on the right.
(You’ll see that option to the right of Themes on that menu.) This takes you to the Customizer, where you’ll be able to add and remove and configure widgets for your site. Your theme’s available widget areas will display (and might look a bit different from this): To add a widget, first click on a widget area. The Customizer will show all of the available widgets that you can add.
Scroll the alphabetized list of widgets, or use the search field at the top to find one. The Customizer will then display a box to configure the widget’s settings.
